Hills offers a variety of low- or no-maintenance homes to address the needs and wants of a variety of homebuyers.

The list below provides a short introduction to the variety of homes offered by Hills. For more detailed information, please see our community pages in each market. You can also contact us through this site if you need more information.

Patio homes stand alone and are not attached to another home. These homes feature private entries, yard space and attached garages (usually two-car). As with all other homes built by Hills, there is little to no exterior maintenance required on your part.

Hills is currently building patio homes at Graystone, in Fishers, Indiana and The Villages of Oak Manor in Westfield, Indiana.

Paired-patio homes are two homes that share one common wall. These homes offer garages, yard space and private entrances.  

Hills is currently building paired-patio homes at Eden Gate in Avon, Indiana and The Villages of Oak Manor in Westfield, Indiana.

Ranch condominiums are often referred to as quads. A group of four homes joined at the side and back form a rectangle, whose connnecting walls are between the attached garage and back of each home, so only one wall joins another home's living areas. Ranch condominiums  guarantee privacy, featuring private entrances and attached two car garages.

Hills is currently building ranch condominiums in the Heritage Pointe community in Mason, Ohio.

Terrace condominiums, also known as garden homes, apartment-style condominiums or traditional condominiums, offer one-level living and provide the most affordable new-home price. There are generally two or three floors with eight to twelve homes sharing a secured, common entry. Attached and/or detached garages are often available with terrace homes.

Hills is currently offering terrace condominiums at Amberley Crossing (Indianapolis IN), Alexander Chase (Cornelius NC), Bradford Commons (Louisville KY), Citation Pointe (Lexington KY), Copper Ridge (Charlotte NC), Creekside Crossing (Indianapolis IN),  Hyde Park (Charlotte NC), Legends Creek (Indianapolis IN), Misty Creek (Fairborn OH), Preston at Plantation Pointe (Florence KY) and The Villages of Oak Manor (Westfield IN).

Villa condominiums, often referred to as 'stacked flats,' are groups of four homes built in two-story buildings with two homes on the top floor and two homes on the ground floor. These homes offer one-level living and each offers a private entry and attached two-car garage.

Hills is not currently building any villa condominium communities, but the most recent example can be found at Country Fields and Muir Woods in Fishers, Indiana.

Townhomes are two-story homes built side-by-side in groups of four, sharing one common wall. These three bedroom homes have lofts, private entries and attached two car garages. Elevations may vary by location.

Hills is not currently building any townhome communities, but the most recent examples may be seen at Alexander Chase in Cornelius, North Carolina.

Single family homes are built within a specific homesite and are detached from neighboring homes. Buyers own the home itself and the land  within the designated homesite, and the homeowner is responsible for all exterior maintenance of the home and yard.

Hills is not currently building any single-family home communities, but the most recent example can be seen at Alexander Chase in Cornelius, North Carolina.
